My Hope for Eduardo

by Melissa Wardrop: 'I have founded the 'Hope For Healing' Charity to help Eduardo and his family during his brave battle of stage three liver cancer. I took care of Eduardo for four months in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. As I have kept in touch with him and his family, my heart longs to support them through yet another hardship. The Goals I hope to meet for Eduardo and his family

My Goals are based on these few facts: The Negreros have only one vehicle and in an average month they spend about $400.00 in gas money just driving to and from the hospital for Eduardo's treatment.

1. To raise $400.00 per month through June 2011

2. To accept donations that will help the Negreros' with the cost of living. (ex. Diapers for three children: size 4)

3. To raise enough money for a second vehicle for the family or to find someone willing to donate a vehicle

A Sincere Thank You

Over the holidays, $1655.00 was donated. The Negreros were so surprised and humbled by your gift. They said they hope to personally meet each and every person who contributed...and believe me, they really mean it!

Over the month of December their furnace stopped working and was beyond repair. Most of the money donated went towards a new replacement. The donations couldn't have come at a better time...They were tearfully grateful!
