Bitter Sweet

The Negreros' finally finalized the adoption of their two sweet little girls the beginning of January.  I attended the ceremony with the Negreros' in front of the judge. The Negreros' were surrounded by a large number of friends and family for support.  The judge herself was even moved to tears as she heard about Eduardo and the reason for his absence.  Unfortunately, Eduardo couldn't be with his family due to a central line infection that required his hospitalization. However, Eduardo's family took the time to acknowledge him.  To say the least, it was an event worthy of celebration and definitely a turning point for the family.
